Welcome to the Audubon Family!

Audubon is a unique community.  We have families from all over the state, the country and over 35 languages spoken at our school.  Audubon PTSA takes joy in this diverse culture, education level, working situations and parenting styles and we are grateful that our children, families, teachers and staff have the opportunity to grow together in education.

Audubon PTSA’s outreach program works hard to make each child and family feel that they are welcome in our community.

Our Mission:  That every family, student and teacher at Audubon feels like they are welcomed into the community

Our Vision: That every student and family member considers themselves part of the Audubon community and that anyone who wants to participate in school activities and PTA activities feels welcome to participate and volunteer.

Meet and Greet Opportunities

New to Audubon or looking for ways to meet more Audubon Elementary families?  Here are some ways to get in touch:
  • In the good ol’ summertime: Join us for our summer meet and plays where Audubon families get together to play at Idylwood Beach Park and Audubon’s own playground. Check our calendar for upcoming events.

  • Back to school: The first 2 days of school Audubon PTSA hosts coffee socials in the library from 8:25-9:30 am. What a great way to make new friends and greet the old!

  • Back to school BBQ:  The 2nd Friday after school begins, Audubon PTSA hosts a night of music, fun and friendship.  The event is free (dinner is available to be purchased or you can bring your own.) You can dance along to the live music and socialize with your Audubon community.  Teachers and staff join us on this joyful night celebrating the beginning of another great Audubon year.

  • Nei Hou, Dobry den, Bonjour, Shalom, Czesc, Oi, Merhaba, Sat siri akal and Hello!  Audubon PTSA is proud to present our World Games Night.  This is a fun-filled family event in the fall where Audubon families volunteer to bring board games from their native countries to share.  Try your hand at board games from Germany, India, China, Brazil, Israel and other places across the world. It is a great evening to get to know people at Audubon while celebrating our rich International culture.
